BGPMA Nurses are the heartbeat of patient care at BGPMA.BGPMA recognizes and appreciates the dedication and commitment to patients its nursing staff provides. The work schedules offered nursing staff is family friendly, allowing nurses to work schedules that meet their family’s needs and lifestyles. Holiday coverage is shared and generally staffed on a volunteer basis and is less demanding than a hospital or nursing home schedule. Weekend work schedules are generally covered by staff wishing to work weekend hours. BGPMA has crafted its time-off benefit package providing nurses with the opportunity to take more time off than what is usually offered in other healthcare settings. BGPMA employs a Nurse Float Team for the purpose of providing coverage for nurses wishing a day off or vacation time to be with their family. BGPMA’s time-off benefit offers the ultimate in flexibility, allowing nurses to choose when they wish to celebrate minor holidays and allows sick time to be converted to vacation days allowing for further planned time off. BGPMA also offers an unpaid Flex-Time Program nurses may take advantage of when they wish additional time off, patient care needs permitting. Although the Flex-Time Program is unpaid vacation time, benefits are maintained at the same level one enjoys while working a full-time schedule. In today’s busy world, BGPMA nurses appreciate the convenience of attending on-site, free of charge CEU programs conducted by the ProMutualGroup during lunch periods. CPR courses are also offered on-site for a nominal fee. BGPMA’s salary scale and benefit package is market competitive and offers bonus opportunities in addition to salary through its Incentive Compensation Program designed to reward nurses for obtaining designated goals easily reached, while performing their day-to-day tasks. Nurse feedback is considered one of our most valuable resources in staying in tune with how well we deliver patient care and services. Periodic nurse meetings are held providing the nursing staff the opportunity to share concerns, suggestions and “better ways to perform in their nursing role” with the VP of Operations and the VP of Human Resources, Employee/Patient Relations and Clinical Directors. Quarterly Employee Town Meetings are also held providing further communication opportunities and are hosted by BGPMA’s President, Chief of Medical Affairs and Executive VP of Finance and Operations. The most valuable benefit offered nurses at BGPMA is the opportunity to share in the lives of patients, often developing long-term, enriching relationships. We hope you choose to join our caring and dedicated team of professional, highly qualified medical staff members. At the end of the day you can know that you have “Made A Difference”!
